What is Real Food? What does it look like, taste, like, smell like? The sad reality is many people don’t know anymore! We are part of a fast paced lifestyle, that demands fast conviences. That’s bad news for our Health. When is the last time you heard the crunch of a fresh apple or saw the true colour of a vegetable…. you know the kind (minus the 3 heaping Tablespoons of Rancid Fat laden dressing covering them).

Fresh Real Food means exactly that, FRESH REAL FOOD. In order to have Healthy Fresh food, you need to go your local Farmers Market (or your local grocery store) &  grab something colourful (kale, squash, lettuce, radishes, apples, bananas, peppers, etc ~ not the colourful boxed junk :) ) Have you seen an updated Food Chart lately?

Exercise (this includes Stress Management & Relaxation)

You’ve heard the saying before “use it or lose it”, well that is 100% true! If you are sitting on your behind all day taking an elevator up to the 3rd floor, getting dropped off at the bus stop or  taking a taxi to your friends 2 blocks away, you are going to lose your mobility sooner then you truly should. I’m not saying you need to pay for an expensive gym membership & work out everyday for hours on end. NO. There are much simpler, cheaper & effective ways to get your body moving & your heart beating; Yoga, Pilates, High Intensity Interval Training, Speed walking, Swimming & Skipping or Jumping Jacks are just some of the great ideas out there today.

Just as important as getting your body moving, you also need to take time out of your day & rest your mind. By this I do not mean take a nap, more like take a moment to meditate. If you’ve never meditated before don’t be afraid, it can be as simple as sitting quiet for a few minutes just listening to the rain. Here you will find different ideas and ways to give your mind the break it deserves.

Supplements and Herbs

These are a very important part of your daily regiment, but very dependent on your individual needs. Are you over-weight, a Vegetarian, Extreamly Stressed out. Any number of things can influence what type of supplements & herbs you & your body require. Even the time of year, where you live, what you do & where you want to be Physically, Mentally & Spiritually will influence your supplement needs.
