What is it?
Members of the Cabbage family, Brussel Sprouts look like mini Cabbages themselves!

Brussel Sprouts are filled with Folic Acid, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Beta Carotene, B6, B1, Fibre, & Potassium.
What does it do for us?
Being a member of the Cabbage family, Brussel Sprouts too, have amazing Anti~Cancer properties. These mini Cabbages help reduce DNA damage at the Cellular level.
Best way to buy it?
Buy firm, evenly sized Sprouts that are an even green colour. Avoid ones with pin holes & wilted or yellowing leaves. Wash or soak in cool water preparing.
Best way to use it?
Score the bottom of Brussel Sprouts with an X for even cooking. Steaming or lightly Sauteing is the best way to cook them. Add some Balsamic Vinegar, Red Onions, Basil, & or Walnuts to your Sprouts.
